Bullshit....

I am drafting this post sitting inside the classroom & I'm going crazy by the minute. Occassionally my professor in an attempt to keep the class alive is posing questions at the students, at least to the ones who are still awake, for which i am regularly supplying a helpless smile. I can hear music & with half the class asleep i don't have a clue as to where its coming from. The ones who are still awake simply sit and stare as if they are doped.
No one gives a damn anymore to what's going on or who's teaching. All they wanna do is to go to as much Moots Courts as possible, bunk as much classes as possible, study as least as possible, eat as much as posible and sleep as much as possible. Who teaches and whats been taught and all such things are been considered quite mundane and earthly matters to be pursued. Ask anyone about whats going on , you will get the same reply-" Arey Moot Court main busy hoon yaar!!!! " Its as if their world stars and ends in moots.
Well i guess thats enough crap for one afternoon. The bell has gone and it has woken up most of my classmates who are stirring up for getting themself marked present.

Lousy Beggars!

I am not here to discuss about the common social phenomenon or human resource development or economics. Here i intend to talk about some unscrupulous characters who have changed the meaning of "hardwork pays".
There are a few, if not many, shameless, ridiculous, obnoxious entities in my class who make their way to the top ranks after a frivolous round of third rate boot-licking and shameless begging. The stimulus for the boot-licking is the presence of anyone who has scored more marks than the begging and boot-licking experts.
The funny thing is that evryone in the class knows that such people manage to stay in the top ranks only because of favouritism and their skill in begging, yet none raiseth a word! They prefer to remain as passive observers allowing unworthy and unscrupulous numbskulls to make their way to the top.
Not any more-
Recently the begging and boot-licking has recieved a tremendous setback: First Mr. Divya Tyagi and then Prof. Dixit, both have taken a strong stand against increasing of marks and have refused to entertain any requests however nice and buttery they may be. The veteren beggars had approached Tyagi in the class itself, but what they got was a polite "NO", and had to be contended with an insulted smirk. Prof. Dixit was on the other hand on the attacking mood and before distributing the answer sheets had declared that there shall be no change whatsoever in the marks. Hurrah to Tyagi Sir and Dixit Sir.
At last after two and a half years of functioning of this university the faculty has come to realise the extend of damage that is done to the whole system by these lousy beggars. Praise the Lord!

Sports Ahoy!

It's festive time in HNLU as the much awaited Sports tournament has comenced.(Its about time too!)

As per schedule there was supposed to be four matches on 25/09/2005. Two of cricket and two of soccer. In cricket 4th sem was pitted against 3rd and the 5th was against the 1st. Both the matches turned out to be closely fought with the thrill lasting till the last ball.
Cricket
Match I (3rd Sem v. 4th Sem)
After a superb spell from Rahul which included a hat-trick and a harvest of 4 wickets saw the 4th sem been rounded off for 68. Every on ewas expecting a one sided match but then 4th sem kept up their reputation and gave a magnificient fight-back which made the match to be decided by the second last ball when the winning 69th run for the 3rd sem came through Chaitanya's sqare cut. The 3rd sem won the first match with one wicket in hand.
Match II (1st Sem v. 5th Sem)
The 5th sem went on to bat first after winning the toss and made a comfortable total of 107 runs. Main contribution to the score came from Vedant, Harsh and Vishesh. The pressure of the chase led to the fall of some early wickets but the combined firepower exhibited by Debajyoti, Arjun and Prathyum steered the 1st sem to a victory with two wickets in hand.
Soccer
The players were all ready and the mood was in for another adrenaline filled round of football. But it so happened that at the scheduled time of the match every able bodied youngster in Raipur who could get hold of a cricket bat was playing in the ground which was booked for HNLU. Alas! The football lovers were last seen yesterday taking turns in kicking the ball at the lights that adorn the HNLU gate!

Prologue

Everyday me and my friends go to the View Point(we have named the railings near the cigarrete shop as view point), smoke a cigarrete, curse the whole system, curse our fate for being in such a place, curse all the great people who are responsible for the shit we are in and routinely we part with someone or the other saying "Life Sucks!" with the others agreeing unanimously.
There too much to be said and no place to air such views, either due to the over-excessive rules that we have in our college or due to the dick-heads who wait for a chance to show one in bad light. The sort of life I have mentioned above has made most of my collegemates to divert all their energy towards all the wrong ends. To speak of these and many other things there exists no opurtunity where I study, hence "Kiran's Space".
